As-Salāmu 'Alaykum - 

EID MUBARAK to the Muslim community of Central PA! Hereby, CPCOM announces Eid Al-Fitr to be on Monday, May 2, 2022, In shā Allāh.

Here are some important information that we'd like you to keep in mind if you are attending the Eid prayer at the Farm Show Complex,

- Since Eid is on Monday, expect some significant traffic bottlenecks around the Farm Show Complex areas, so plan to arrive as early as possible.

- The prayer will be at the Expo Hall at the Farm Show Complex. The easier way to get there is to use the vehicle entrance near the Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC).

- Please follow the instructions of the parking volunteers, park your cars responsibly, and watch out for little kids in the parking lot.

- If you need handicapped parking please inform any of the parking volunteers and they'll guide you.

- There are 2 entrances to the Expo Hall, one for brothers and sisters, and another one primarily for sisters.

- Volunteers will be around to guide you to the correct entrance, follow their instructions.

- We encourage you to bring your own prayer rugs as carpet options are very limited, if not, none.

- Limited Wudu options are available at the Expo Hall, if possible please come with Wudu.

- Water bottles and light refreshments will be available at the Expo Hall. Please don't waste any water bottles.

- Please keep quiet during the prayer and the Khutbah session. Please keep your children with you, and keep them quiet as much as possible at least during the prayer and the following Khutbah session.

- There'll be a medical team at the facility, in case if anyone needs medical attention.

- This year Zakat Al-Fitr is $12 per person. Make sure to pay Zakat Al-Fitr for your family before Eid prayer. Preferably pay at your local Masjid, if not there'll be boxes around to collect Zakat Al-Fitr at the Expo Hall. If you are going to use the boxes at the Expo Hall please remember that there won't be any change option available.

- Please be extra careful heading out as more people may be at the parking lot at the same time. Watch out for little kids when you back out your vehicle. Follow the instructions from the parking volunteers.

- If you have any questions or comments on the event day please reach out to any of the volunteers.
